Bible Verse of the Week: Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life..." (John 11:25)
Math
J dressed up a lot this week :)
We continued working on patterns and numbers this week.
J worked on measuring the height of toys/people, short/tall.
Then she determined which objects were longer and which were shorter.
We also read a few fun math books:
Monster Math written by Anne Miranda
A Number of Animals written by Christopher Wormell
Spaghetti and Meatballs for All! A Mathematical Story written by Marilyn Burns

Go for THE CODE
This week in THE CODE Jenni reviewed the letter Cc, the sound /k/, and continued working on writing. She also reviewed all previously learned letters and sounds.
Reading
We are continuing to use The Ordinary Parent's Guide to Teaching Reading and enjoying the process. I made these flashcards for Jenni a while back to practice upper case and lower case letters and review their sounds.
In addition to our normal reading time, J has also enjoyed listening to books on CD this week:
Charlotte's Web written and performed by E. B. White
