A is for Alligator
I adore him. I really, really do.
Joshua was determined to color inside the lines. Jenni sat next to him the whole time encouraging and praising him.
And then she decided to read to him to pass the time.
We are using the All About Reading Pre-Reading program. We love love love love love the All About Reading and All About Spelling programs and totally recommend them. Joshua is really enjoying this program and we're having fun with it.
Being the little teacher Jenni is, she asked Joshua to point to the A's in the story.

We read from The Kingfisher Illustrated Encyclopedia of Animals. Joshua enjoys learning about animals he's never heard of before - great book for this.
And then from DK First Animal Encyclopedia - great pictures.
Jenni drew her own alligator.
Joshua asked me to draw him a baby alligator and then he colored it. :)
