Week 31 of Pre-K

Pre-K is quickly winding down! We are excited to be closing in on the last few weeks of this wonderful school year!

Sweet J wanted to memorize a Bible verse from the book of John...
Bible Verse: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).

Math
Jenni has come to enjoy reading all the numbers to 100. It's amazing how much progress she has made in number recognition over the past school year!
 Counting by tens
Playing grocery store - Jenni determined what amount each item of food cost (ex. her can of soup cost thirty cents) and then found the thirty cent tag and placed it next to the can of soup and then used her dimes to "pay" for the item.

Other math activities we reviewed this week - identifying ordinal position (1st-5th), comparing numbers (larger than, smaller than), comparing length (shorter, longer), ordering four objects by length, and measuring length using nonstandard units.
