Week 21 of Pre-K

Jenni and I were eager to get back into our school routine after a relaxing Christmas break. This is what we did during Week 21...

Bible Verse: Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:16-17).

Reading
 Jenni reviewed her flashcards before starting our reading lesson.


 We are using The Ordinary Parent's Guide to Teaching Reading for phonics instruction and Jenni is reading Bob Books: Set 1 for Beginning Readers. This week Jenni reviewed Bob Books: Set 1, Books 1-4 and began reading Book 5 this week.

Spelling



Jenni practiced spelling with our Banagram tiles. She loves using them!

Joshua
Joshua also wanted to use the Banagrams.
He enjoyed stacking the tiles...
...and was quite happy with himself when he stacked them high without falling over :)
