The ABCs of Christmas: Letter Cc

C is for The Christmas Story
The Promise: Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14).

Record of the Fulfillment: But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High (Luke 1:30-32).

The Promise: For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).

Record of the Fulfillment: Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord (Luke 2:11).

C is for Cookie Exchange!


 We had a cookie exchange in our neighborhood and baked dozens of cookies! Our three types of cookies: chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookies with chocolate kisses and monster cookies. Delicious!
